Thank you for your patience as we work through scheduling appointments. We are doing our best to accommodate everyone.
Due to this unforeseen and unprecedented situation, we are going to do our best to deliver great service while fully protecting you and our staff. The following information are new guidelines and safety protocols. Please read carefully.
After June 2nd, we will be taking appointments via the salon’s front desk number – 630-613-9500. If you are looking to make significant changes to your style that will require a longer appointment, please contact your stylist directly.
We hope you understand that we will staggering appointments in the salon for your safety and it may take longer to get your appointment. With only one client per salon service providers, we are working at 50% capacity so please have patience with us when scheduling. This means we can only accommodate 3-5 clients a day compared to our normal capacity of 10-15 clients a day.
We ask upon arrival that you remain in your vehicle and do our Curbside Check-in. Your stylist will text or call you to let you know they are available for your appointment. Once you arrive, we will meet you in the hallway to take your temperature. If you have a temperature of 100 or higher you will need to reschedule your appointment for two weeks. When you enter the salon we will have hand sanitizer available for you to wash your hands.
Please sign up for our new text messaging system by texting “RELAX” to 630-324-4515. We will then be allowed to send you texts with our Curbside Check-in for appointments as well as our stylists openings, new products, salon happenings, and more.
Please wear your protective mask as all salon service providers and assistants will be required to wear masks and protective gear at all times. We ask that you wear one that secures behind your ears when receiving a hair service. Please do not use a mask that ties behind your head because it won’t work during a hair service. If you do not have a mask, we can provide a disposable mask for a $5 charge. Please do NOT remove your mask as it would jeopardized your health and those around you.
Limited Changing Rooms:
We will be temporarily suspending the use of protective smocks. Clients will receive a clean protective cape for their service. If you are having your hair colored, be aware that we recommend that you wear clothes that will you not mind if it gets stained.
Personal Items and People:
Please limit yourself to your phone and form of payment vs. bringing your handbag. Please do not bring any extra guests with you. Only the person receiving services will be permitted into the building and no children under the age of 5. NO EXCEPTIONS WILL BE CONSIDERED.
Magazines or books:
No magazines or books will be available to reduce risk.
During your shampoo, please reduce the amount of chatting.
We will not be providing deep treatment services at this time, however, we have products available for purchase that you can use at home.
Due to the close proximity we will not be using the hood dryers. If you have a rake and shake style scheduled we will diffuse only.
If you bring your child in for services you may come in with them to explain what you would like to have done and make the payment. We will escort your child out to your vehicle after their appointment.
Credit Card Payments For Services:
We will only be taking credit card payments for services until further notice.
Cash Gratuity (This is preferred):
We will be accepting cash gratuity for salon service providers and assistants. We will have envelopes for each person available at their stations. Please have exact change – there will be no change available at the front desk.
We will not be shaking hands, hugging or getting closer than social distancing allows at this time. However, please know that we are missing you and want to know how you are doing.
We ask that you arrive at the time of your appointment. Please do not cancel without a 24-hour notice. A last-minute cancellation will result in lost time and income for our salon service providers and assistants whom are already working on reduced hours and servicing less clients.
If you have been ill or around someone who has been ill, please wait 14 days to reschedule your appointment.
Finally, we are sad to inform you that Ze and Rosie will not be returning to Adored when we re-open. We wish them the best in their new adventures.
