It is one thing to go from being a stylist behind the chair to owning a salon, and it is another thing to be a salon owner.

Joyce was the perfect fit for her extensions, but it took a lot of extensions to equal that out. She had upwards of 12 wefts in her head.
Joy is one of the many stylists on social media with the extension line. She has changed her look so much.
She touches up her roots every two weeks.
Curly extensions are a huge time saver for the time-saver. Textured extensions are great for people who have any texture in their hair.
Curly hair can be straightened, too.
How long should you wash your hair? 14:47
Going longer without washing her hair for a week or 12 days is a time saver. She likes to wash her hair once a week.
Having a foundation of set and style before getting extensions is important for curly girl styling, like straight hair.
At a minimum, care and styling videos are provided for free. Now, if you purchase $1,000 worth of hair or more, you will get those videos for free, because they were crediting and refunding thousands and thousands of dollars.
The client was experiencing horrendous tangling and matting.

She went to Mexico with her hair in her hair and got a tangle. She was shoveling snow as it was snowing, and she had her hair pulled back and had a coat on.
Her hair is 15 months old and it is still fine.
There are so many variables in there that become reliant on the client and not the company. Take accountability, because so many things can go wrong.

Sallyjo has over 2000 square feet of space. She also has her own shampoo bowls. She wanted the floating shampoo bowls because her back was killing her from leaning over the wall and trying to get to the back of the neck.

They have a lot of ikea cabinets in their salon. They have the same ones behind their shampoo bowls. They had to get a liquor license to have dark wood cabinets in the salon.
They had to run all of the electrical work through the ikeA cabinets.
The health department came in every 120 days to check and make sure the salon was abiding by all the rules.
The salon was up and running in six weeks, and there were so many things that she had no idea about. Everything came together.

The best characteristic of a business owner is the ability to change and course correct and move forward and figure out something new.
The one thing he loves the most about being able to do his own thing, and how he tries to be equal to his clients.

The benefit to doing it that way, and it shows like it appeared, like it was able to explain it and teach it the way that it appeared.
The two extremes of being a stylist, always learning and wanting to learn more to better yourself.
There is always something new and exciting to hear about. There are new products being launched every day. They don’t stick to one line across the board. They have several different lines of products.
They do carry out some new spa products, but have not tried the new spa stuff.

There is a scalp exfoliator that uses icehusks that are brown down because sugar and salt will scratch the skin, whereas rice us absorb the moisture and exfoliate without scratching the skin and causing any kind of abrasion.
Hair and body balm is amazing if put in your hair.
The first thing jennifer does when she wakes up in the morning is to brush her curls before she applies any creams or gels. She also uses a diffuser to dry the sections and give herself a little volume.
